There's a revolution brewing in 2034.

After the disbandment of the X-Men and the Brotherhood - after Charles Xavier and Erik Lensherr, known more popularily as Professor X and Magneto had passed away - there was peace. Anti-mutant sentiment died down, though not away, and those who had once worn spandex and leather tried to find a way to live their new lives.

Now, however, Xavier's Institute for the Gifted is back up and running - accepting any students and teachers that they can find. The staff reassures worried parents and politicians that this isn't a stab at ressurecting the X-Men - they merely want to have a safe place to teach and nurture the next generation of mutants.

But there are certainly students at Xavier's who yearn to go out and help prove that mutants should no longer be hated or feared. And then there are the rumors about a new Brotherhood...
